We tried this and it works. We adapted it to make it in the quantity we wished and texture we preferred. It works very well, almost unbelievable. Just has to share it, maybe it will help save you money or give you a better laundry detergent than you currently use. You can use Fels Naptha as recommended or substitute other types of soap for various outcomes. Be sure to get that dirty laundry clean, it only takes a tablespoon. - Jeremy
